Considering I was putting in 12+ hour days on average at work all through January, I'm pleasantly shocked that I even managed this much. To establish standards for my future reference, that wordcount comes from a number of unconnected conversations in the conversation planning doc and a handful of snippets- outlines, notes, and worldbuilding don't count!

I'm really trying to develop better habits around writing instead of just daydreaming fun scenarios and sharing them with no one, so I think I'm going to take a leaf out of Askerian's book and start tracking word count and what I've been working on, specifically. I tend to get blind to progress I've made and feeling discouraged makes it even harder to actually get anywhere, so. We'll give this a try and see if it helps! Gonna do stat roundups for the previous month on the 17th of the following month, because realistically speaking my busy cycles at work are going to make trying to do this earlier in a calendar month a lot less likely.
