All right, so I fell down on the 400 words/day method yesterday, but today is a new day and I'm off to a better start. [Sidenote- it might not be a bad idea to make a place for Pterry on the Beloved Dead shrine, considering.]
To be frank, the Operation above is not just falling back in love with the act of writing, but regaining an appreciation for my writing. Every so often I'll go back through old pieces and do the classic "'wow, this is really good, I hope it updates soon!;... *facepalm* oh wait...", so I know I have and can write things that I don't hate reading.
I've just gotta, you know.
Do that.
I won't love everything, but I do like a lot of the things I come up with, so I officially have permission from myself to not nail it on the first try and get the little phantom story-seeds flickering around my brain out of my head and on to paper.
I mmmmay post bits up here? I don't know yet, I'm a bit shy on the idea, but it's a thought!
